4 June 2011 After School: Combination of SNSD and KARA?

 
Japanese media have shown great interest in girl group After School, calling them a “combination of SNSD and KARA.”

In an article published on June 3rd, Sankei Sports said, “After School is a combination of KARA’s dance skills and SNSD’s beauty (the legs).” Other major Japanese media also lauded After School saying, “All members are taller than 167cm,” and “Nine-member girl group that comes with the 3S: Style, Sexy, and Show.”

According to Pledis Entertainment, “A lot of Japanese press have shown interest in After School and their Japanese debut in August. Some officials told us After School received the most coverage and attention among all Korean artists so far.”

After School is scheduled to make their Japanese debut through a solo showcase on July 17th. Their first Japanese single “Bang!” is expected to be released on August 17th. They are currently promoting their first full album“Virgin,” which includes the hit single “Shampoo.”
