4 August 2011 Lizzy is a Sleeping Beauty
After School’s sub unit AS Blue recently released behind the scenes pictures from their “Wonder Boy” music video shoot. The above picture of Lizzy from this session has caught netizens attention. Lizzy is seen looking serene and comfortable in bed. Even though she is laying down her enviable ‘S’ line is still visible.
Once netizens saw Lizzy’s picture they uploaded it onto online community boards and comments left included, ”You look pretty like sleeping beauty”, “Sleeping appearance just like an angel” and “Lizzy you’re so cute I want to bite you!”
The music video was filmed in such a friendly atmosphere the members of AS Blue were relaxed and well rested. According to a pledis official the members of AS Blue would take a break every hour and rest. During these breaks they would enjoy quality moments together as a group talking pleasantly and enjoying each others company.

1 August 2011 Raina’s Flower-like Beauty Catches Netizens Attention
AS Blue’s jacket photos have been gaining popularity and the picture above of Raina has caught netizens attention. Many feel she is as beautiful as a flower and that in recent weeks her beauty has been growing more and more.
The AS Blue and AS Red sub-units promotional period has only lasted a few weeks. Once it is over After School will start to split their time between South Korea and Japan.

27 July 2011 After School to end unit promotions early
Although the two sub-units of After School, AS Red and AS Blue, have just started promotions for “In the Night Sky” and “Wonder Boy“, Pledis Entertainment has revealed that the group will be ending their promotions as early as next week in order to prepare for their Japanese debut.
“It’s slightly disappointing for the members, but we will be promoting until approximately next week,” said a representative for After School. “We’re planning on a diverse range of promotions for their Japanese activities, including concerts and fashion shows. You’ll be able to see a new image for the track, “Bang!“.”

24 July 2011 After School Red and Blue debut on Inkigayo
After a long wait, the After School subunits: After School Red and After School Blue are ready to bring it on with their respective debut stages on today’s SBS Inkigayo.
Pledis and After School decided on a little friendly competition by splitting the latter as voted by fans into 2 subunits – A.S. RED featuring members Kahi, Jungah, Nana, and UEE, while A.S. BLUE featured members Jooyeon, Raina, Lizzy, and E-Young.
Through this unique promotion, they hope to show off two different sides to the beauty that is After School. A.S. RED will be a sexy, powerful concept, while A.S. BLUE will cater to the summer heat with a sweet and outgoing concept. Check out their debut stages below!

22 July 2011 Pledis responds to criticisms of AS Blue’s ‘too sexy’ look
On July 20th, After School’s new sub-unit, ‘A.S. Blue‘, finally unveiled their debut music video for “Wonder Boy“. As the unit is in charge of the ‘innocent’ concept, fans were surprised to see the girls donning garter stockings, which is usually associated with a sexier image.
In the music video, the ladies were seen wearing a ‘pajama lingerie look’ involving a blouse, hot pants, and garter stockings. Netizens thought that the look was a bit suggestive for a unit that’s going for the innocent concept and raised a bit of controversy over the issue.
Pledis spoke up on the issue by explaining, “It’s not a garter belt but a ‘leggy look’ knee-socks fashion. In order to improve the style, we added a white connecting string from the pants to the stockings.”

After School has started promoting with Naver by giving them bts flicks of the AS Red and AS Blue sub-units.
There are introductions from each subunit which tells fans more about each groups concept and their promotional activity. U-ie is the representative and wrote a few words for AS Red while Lizzy did the writing for for AS Blue. Hopefully everything will be translated soon along with getting bigger pictures.
