24 October 2011 Orange Caramel Gains Attention from their Unique Presence
After coming back with their latest single “Shanghai Romance” Orange Caramel has gained attention for their unique concept and stage outfits.
Last week on October 16th Orange Caramel gained a lot of attention when they wore outfits similar to one Bruce Lee wore for their comeback performance on Inkiagyo. This week the group managed to top both that outfit and performance by wearing “Jiang Shi” style clothing. A jiang shi is known as a Chinese “hopping” vampire or zombie found in Chinese legends and folklore (via Wiki).
A representative from Pledis stated, “Orange Caramel’s stage costumes and their performances for viewers are expected to delight everyone!…There will be changes in the future, please anticipate”.
With unique choreography that incorporated many fun and aegyo parts the result was a exotic performance. Due to this it is no surprise Orange Caramel has gained a lot of favorable attention.

18 October 2011 Orange Caramel catches attention for their ‘Bruce Lee style’
Orange Caramel‘s “Shanghai Romance” comebacks have been all the rage amongst netizens lately thanks to a charm “that only Orange Caramel can pull off“.
On October 16th, the girls made their comeback on SBS‘ ‘Inkigayo‘ wearing adorable yellow one-piece dresses and performing an addictive Kung Fu choreography reminiscent of Bruce Lee. Despite wearing flats, the girls still managed to show off their long legs and looked very much like triplets with the same short hairstyles.
Although many were doubtful of Orange Caramel’s debut at first, the girls have finally won many music fans over with an over-the-top style that people can’t help but watch. As one of the few unit groups to actually differentiate themselves from their mother group, the public has been praising them for pulling off their one-of-a-kind style.
Netizens commented, “The addictive melody is already ringing in my hears“, “Such a witty stage, I can’t help but be reminded of Bruce Lee“, and “This album’s going to do well, fighting!"
