27 June 2011 Uee is Expected to Resign from ‘Night After Night’ in July

U-ie’s position as an MC on the show ‘Night After Night’ will most likely come to an end.

U-ie has been an MC on the show since November of 2010 and has been a great asset due to her popularity and entertaining charms. An official from ‘Night After Night’ released a statement detailing how busy U-ie was due to her commitments to the show along with After School’s activities. Also, U-ie will be starring in the upcoming drama ‘Golden Pond’ which is sure to take up even more of her time. The official also mentioned that even without U-ie leaving the shows format was due to naturally change at some point.

Hopefully after U-ie’s drama starts she can appear on ‘Night After Night’ as a guest. It would be interesting to see her interact with her old co-hosts as a guest insead of an MC

14 June 2011 UEE shares a story about Kim Hyun Joong on Night after Night

 

After School’s UEE shares her story of her first encounter with SS501′ Kim Hyun Joong causing firing jealousy in many fan girls.

On the June 13th airing of SBS’s Night After Night, UEE confessed, “I first saw him during a CF (Commercial Film) shoot, we held hands right as we met.” She also added, “My coordinator is a fan of Kim Hyun Joong and laughed when she saw this. She had eye contact with Hyun Joong while asking me if I was happy [to hold hands with him], she was really embarrassed.”

UEE then came to her coordinator’s defense and reassured Hyun Joong that her coordinator was not talking to him when she jealously made that comment.

It was clear that Hyun Joong was infatuated by UEE’s presence; the shy flower boy also confessed, “When I first saw UEE, I was secretly making a fuss about how pretty she was in the back.” When he was asked how it felt to hold her hand by MC Park Myung Soo, Hyun Joong confessed that it felt “good.”

8 June 2011 PD of "Night After Night" Denies Rumors of Cancellation

It was earlier reported that someone affiliated to SBS "Night After Night" tipped off the show will be cancelled suddenly after its last recording few days ago. Yet on June 7^th, PD Choi Young In cleared up the rumor and stated, “The hearing concept that was recorded on the 3^rd was the last recording. The rumor saying we will be changing the entire cast is not true. We have not yet decided how we are going to change the format of the program.”

According to his statement, now we know the show will not be cancelled; only they are trying to change the format of the show. The format of the program now is based on a hearing concept, that they would invite two celebrity guests each week, and have a hearing with the cast, including MC Tak Jae Hoon, Park Myung Soo, Kim Jae Dong, Big Bang’s Daesung, After School’s UEE, and CN Blue’s YoungHwa. However, due to Daesung’s recent traffic accident, he is not participating in the show for now.

7 June 2011 Lizzy Reveals “Uee Throws Knee Kicks, Sleeps with Her Eyes Open”

After School’s Lizzy surprised Uee by unveiling secrets about her on yesterday’s episode of SBS’s “Night after Night.” During her guest appearance, Lizzy started off by revealing “Uee shows completely different sides of herself depending on whether she’s in front of males or females.” She added “In front of the members, she even throws knee kicks, punches, and does head locks.” Uee, who seemed a bit blushed, said “I do that to get closer with the members. But I get embarrassed because they just leave with showing any reaction.”



However, Lizzy didn’t stop from disclosing her secrets. She continued questioning Uee, “You sleep with your eyes open, right?” and Uee replied “Yes.” Lizzy stunned Uee by further adding, “I almost started a conversation with her once.”



Following their conversation, Big Bang’s Seungri who was beside them started staring at Uee, stating “Her eyes are so big indeed that it’s possible that they really might not close.” Meanwhile, this episode gained much attention for revealing Kim Jae Dong’s expensive birthday day present for Uee.
